When it comes to my favorite place in the world, the answer is easy: on a ship, surrounded by open water. Cruises are my ultimate ‘destination,’ and I’ve loved exploring the Mexican Riviera and Southern Caribbean—both the perfect blend of adventure and tropical paradise. That said, some of my most unforgettable trips have actually been on land. I fell in love with middle and east Tennessee, from the history of Franklin to the Grand Ole Opry, the Great Smoky Mountains, and Dollywood. And this year, I took the trip of a lifetime with my family to Niagara Falls and New York City. As a lifelong West Coaster, spending two weeks immersed in history, adventure, beauty, excitement, and tribute—seeing and doing things that I never thought I’d ever get to experience—was beyond anything I’d imagined.
